Emily Swallow

 American actor Emily Swallow was born December 18th 1979. She is most famous for her role in The Mentalist's Kim Fischer and Supernatural's 11th season as Amara The Darkness. She is also known for her character of The Armorer in the Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily was also involved in the video game The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born December 18 1979 in Washington, D.C. Her family lived in Sterling, Virginia, as in Jacksonville, Florida. Swallow began acting while at Stanton College Preparatory School. She also participated in professional and amateur theatre productions. In 2001, she graduated with a degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Virginia, and followed that with an MFA in Acting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.Swallow began her career in Broadway theatre, where she performed in diverse productions, such as High Fidelity, King Lear, The Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Guthrie Theater, Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park, and the world premiere of off Broadway shows Romantic Poetry and Measure for Pleasure.In 2008, Swallow made her film debut in the military drama The Lucky Ones. The show was the world premiere of Donald Margulies' play The Country House at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse as well as in a duet with Mark Rylance in Louis Jenkins in the play Nice Fish at the Guthrie Theater, [citation needed] and also in John Patrick Shanley's musical Romantic Poetry at Manhattan Theater Club. She was awarded the Falstaff Award for best Female performer in 2010 for her performance as Kate in the play The Taming of the Shrew.In 2012, Swallow and fellow singer/comedian Jac Huberman created an original stage show titled Jac N Swallow and performed it in New York at the Laurie Beeckman Theater and Joe's Pub. The show centers on the hilarious mishaps of the two who face different situations with different degrees of sanity, and decency.
