Kaitlyn Ann Vincie

Kaitlyn Ann Vicie was born in 1987 on December 10, 1987. She is an American journalist. She is employed by the Fox NASCAR team as a reporter, and is a presenter on their daily news and update show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie began her interest in stock car racing when she received a pit-lane pass. After graduation, she attended Christopher Newport University and worked as a reporter at Langley Speedway. Following the time that SceneDaily released her self-made blog posts about NASCAR, she gained attention. Vincie was born on December 10, 1987, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised in Bridgewater before her family moved to Warrenton in the year Vincie was in high school. She is the daughter of John Vincie and Margaret, and has an older sister. Vincie's maternal grandmother Eleanor N. Logan was a fifth grade teacher while her grandfather was on faculty of Bridgewater College. Vincie was fascinated by journalism from a young age. Vincie graduated from Fauquier High School in 2006. She competed in the track and field, as well as worked as a coach of the school's team in wrestling for four years. She was victorious in the 800m race of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie got to know Al Pearce, a journalist who was a mentor and gave Vincie many details. Vincie graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2010 with an undergraduate degree in communications. Vincie was an intern for the athletics department at the university. She also worked for Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. Vincie wrote her senior dissertation on gender-based disparities in auto racing that specifically focused on Danica Patrick, a woman race car driver. She became interested in the sport after receiving a pit lane pass to the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her influences include Wendy Venturini and Krista Voda.
